When You Feel Abandoned.

So I did this thing.

I couldn't quite find the words that I wanted to write for this particular topic, so I gathered my sister and a webcam and spilled my heart in video form.  I hope that it blesses you.

Also, there are bloopers.  Fun.  :)

  1. After watching the bloopers.... I am praying for you..... lol. just kidding. you did good. I understand being abandoned all to well. My mom was married 8 times. So it has just been a normal part of my life. God helped me thru a lot of it even before i realized how much.

    1. Being abandoned is a horrible feeling and isn't it amazing how God helps us before we even realize the depth of the help we need? I've felt abandoned by people on numerous occasions and it has always left me looking in the mirror and wondering what I did wrong and what I could change about myself so that others wouldn't leave me. I've never felt that I was incredibly extraordinary. The only thing that didn't make me a completely invisible wallflower was Christ, so I always thought THAT must have been what I needed to change. But I thank God that I've never been able to lose Him. :)

  2. Amen! Christ is a friend that sticks closer than a brother, never leaving or forsaking us and yes He never abandons us! I've come to know the Lord as the very best friend anyone can have or want. At the end of the day Christ is the Constant that still remains! Thank you for blessing us with your blog [ & your video :D ]
