I say this a lot, but I like to imagine that this little corner of the web is a cozy little coffee shop where you and I can meet.  I also like to imagine that these favorites would line the walls and fill the air of such a coffee shop.  //

The Pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer // One of the books that has helped to shape my faith.

One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp // Because who doesn't have this book on their list of favorites?

Kisses from Katie by Katie Davis // Katie tells her amazing story of obedience and crazy faith and it awakens the crazy faith inside of me.

Fiction

Persuasion by Jane Austen // Although I love most Jane Austen novels, this tale of first love and second chances is my absolute favorite.

Rooms by James L. Rubart // It's a strange concept, but I love it: we're always changing, always growing, always knowing ourselves better the more we open ourselves to God.  

Edenbrooke & Blackmoore by Julianne Donaldson // Blackmoore is my favorite of the two, but both books are wonderful if you're a hopeless romantic looking for a clean read.

Love Rules by Dandi Daley Mackall // This one is just too cute, especially for young teen girls.  Plus, I love postcards.  :)

Just Between You and Me by Jenny B. Jones // This book makes me giggle and feel warm fuzzy things in my chest.

The O'Malley Series by Dee Henderson // Heartwarming from the beginning to the very end, this was the first series I ever read completely and I still love these characters.

Anything by Denise Hunter // Denise is one of my favorite contemporary fiction authors, although she has published some historical fiction that I love as well. 

Everything by Karen Witemeyer // I accidentally stumbled across Karen's historical fiction novels last year and I have been hooked ever since.
